In this project ILVO will build on its extensive experience in in measuring emissions (ammonia, dust, greenhouse gases, odour) from stables.

We  develop op and set up measurement systems  to determine emission factors from livestock houses and investigate the possibility of measuring emissions continuously at the barn level to contribute to a more correct estimation and follow-up of ammonia emissions at barn level.

Together with ATB, ILVO will lead the WP4 team to  to optimize, through experimental observations, validate in relevant environment, and demonstrate in pilot applications the mitigation potential of agricultural innovative technologies on GHG and NH3 emissions from barns, storages, and cultivated soils
