On April 20 2024, as part of the opening ceremony of this fair, Rodney Thompson from University of Almeria (UAL) made two short presentations. The first explained the ECONUTRI project and emphasised the role of the Chinese partners, and the second provided an overview of irrigation and fertigation management in Almeria, Spain.
