Sunlon farm in Beijing is one of the stakeholders of the ECONUTRI project, and connected to the activities from CAU.
On April 9 2024, Rodney Thompson from University of Almeria (UAL) and Wim Voogt from Wageningen University and Research (WUR) visited this modern greenhouse with cherry tomatoes. The tomatoes are grown in cocopeat with reuse of drainage water. They aim to grow with optimal and efficient use of resources: substrate, water and fertilisers.
Both, Rodney and Wim gave a presentation for a large group of staff, growers and other stakeholders about their achievements within WP3, Task 3.2 of ECONUTRI.”
