On April 19 2024, a workshop was organized by our partner Shouguang Vegetable Industry Holding Group (SVG) in Shouguang, Shandong province to discuss various aspects of fertigation management of greenhouse-grown vegetable crops. The Chinese participation was led by Professor Bin Liang from Qingdao Agricultural University (QAU). QAU is a collaborator in the ECONUTRI project, Additionally, there were people from several other Chinese universities, from SVG and from a fertigation equipment manufacturer. Rodney Thompson from University of Almeria ( UAL) represented the EU ECONUTRI partners.
There was a very interesting and constructive discussion. Prior to participating in the workshop, visits were made to several greenhouses to see new fertigation systems being used.
