A seminar was held on May 7 2024, to highlight the outcomes of NIBIO’s MAFIGOLD project, which over five years explored the separation, dewatering, and pelleting of manure, developed innovative fertilizer blends from fish sludge and manure, and tested peat-free growing media in both greenhouse and field trials.
During the event, current knowledge and results from MAFIGOLD project were presented, showcasing how these advances are now being carried forward in the ECONUTRI project.
ECONUTRI is building on this foundation, taking nutrient recycling and sustainable fertilizer innovation one step further toward more efficient, climate-smart agriculture.
