During the V Symposium on Organic Agriculture, held on November 6-7, 2024, in El Ejido, the ECONUTRI project was showcased by our partnres COEXPHAL and the University of Almería. These institutions actively collaborated in communicating the project’s progress, which focuses on sustainable nutrient management and optimizing resource use, such as water and fertilizers.

Farmer Esther Molina, a collaborator of ECONUTRI, was given special recognition by appearing on the cover of the symposium’s printed magazine. Additionally, her participation in the event provided an opportunity to share practical experiences and preliminary results from the application of ECONUTRI in commercial farms, offering visitors who stopped by our corner, where the project’s RollUp was displayed, a direct view of the benefits and challenges associated with adopting these innovations in organic agriculture. This recognition highlights the commitment and leadership of women farmers in the transition toward a more ecological and resource-efficient agriculture.
