
As part of their Animal Husbandry course, 36 students from the University of Nicosia visited the Agricultural Research Institute’s facilities at the Athalassa Experimental Mansion in Nicosia.
During the visit, students had the opportunity to explore ongoing experiments focused on reducing greenhouse gas emissions (GHGs) from manure and advancing sustainable livestock practices. The session provided valuable hands-on learning, showcasing innovative solutions for tackling environmental challenges in agriculture.
Such collaborations between academia and research institutions are vital for inspiring the next generation of agricultural professionals.
