Our coordinator, the AUA participated in the 32nd Conference of the Hellenic Society of Horticultural Science, held on 21 October 2025 in Volos, Greece.
The event brought together experts from academia and industry to share new scientific insights and discuss current developments in horticultural research.
During the conference, AUA colleagues presented research outcomes related to the development, calibration, and validation of the Soil NUTRISENSE Decision Support System (DSS).
The presentation, titled: “Calibration of the SOIL NUTRISENSE decision support system in an outdoor broccoli cultivation”, showcased the DSS’s performance under real field conditions in broccoli production. The work highlighted its capacity to support growers in optimising nitrogen-fertilization decisions, improving input-use efficiency, reducing environmental pressures, and enhancing sustainability.
