In an interview published by AGRO.TEC on 20 February 2023, Prof. Dimitrios Savvas highlighted the Horizon Europe project ECONUTRI, coordinated by the Agricultural University of Athens.
The project brings together 30 partners from 13 countries and focuses on innovative technologies for sustainable nutrient management in agriculture. Through 24 pilot technologies, ECONUTRI aims to reduce pollution, lower fertiliser use and waste, and support more sustainable and cost-effective farming.
