Our partner Prof. Lidia Sas-Paszt contributed to OrgHort 2024 – the IV International Organic Fruit Symposium and II International Organic Vegetable Symposium, held in Warsaw, Poland, from 17 to 20 September 2024. The event brought together the international organic horticulture community to exchange knowledge on innovative practices, soil management, biodiversity, plant health and sustainable food production.

Organized by INHORT together with ISHS, and with Prof. Lidia Sas-Paszt among the organizers, the symposium provided an important platform for sharing research and strengthening dialogue on sustainable and environmentally friendly solutions for horticulture.

Within this context, the ECONUTRI contribution focused on microbial consortia as components of biopreparations that can stimulate plant growth and yield while helping reduce losses of mineral nutrients to soil, water and air. The presentation highlighted the potential of microbial-based solutions to support more sustainable horticultural production and improve nutrient efficiency, in line with ECONUTRI’s mission to advance innovative nutrient management in agriculture.

A poster was also shown showcasing Econutri results.
