16 January 2023 – AUA at Info Day in Preveza, Greece

On 16 January 2023, an information day was held at the Theofaneio Art Hall of the Municipality of Preveza, focusing on innovative technologies to reduce water and fertilizer consumption in greenhouse crops.

The event, co-organized by the Agricultural University of Athens, the Directorate of Rural Economy & Veterinary Services of Preveza, and the local Agronomists’ Association, featured presentations by Anastasis Gkatsios (DAOK Preveza & President of the Agronomists’ Association of Preveza), Thomas Bartzanas (Agricultural University of Athens, Laboratory of Agricultural Constructions), Georgia Ntatsi (Agricultural University of Athens, Laboratory of Vegetable Production), and Dimitrios Savvas (Agricultural University of Athens, Laboratory of Vegetable Production). Supported by the Horizon Europe ECONUTRI project and the NUTRISENSE project, the event highlighted practical solutions for sustainable greenhouse farming.
