An Open day event at the Winery OMODOS – Ktima Vassiliades in Cyprus, was held to present the final results of the Sustainable Innovation Pilot in Cyprus, focusing on “Improving the Sustainability Performance of Wine Producers“. The event gathered key stakeholders from the agri-food sector, including producers, wineries, agronomists, and policymakers, to discuss innovative approaches for enhancing sustainability in viticulture.

This pilot was conducted as part of the Ploutos program, which aims to promote sustainable farming practices and improve the efficiency of agricultural value chains. During the event, researchers from ARI also highlighted the connection between Ploutos and the Econutri project, emphasizing the shared goals of environmental sustainability and innovation in agriculture.
