Our partner, the University of Thessaly (UTH), had the privilege of presenting the Econutri Project at the Thessaloniki International Fair 2024, held from September 7–15.
This prestigious event provided an excellent platform for Econutri, allowing our partners to engage with a diverse audience, including leading researchers, industry experts, and members of the broader community. The strong interest demonstrated at the fair highlighted the growing impact and potential of the project.
The Laboratory of Agricultural Constructions and Environmental Control team, led by Professor Nikolaos Katsoulas is testing in its Pilot Greenhouse Park in Velestino, technologies and smart management practices for climate, irrigation and fertilization management of greenhouse crops, digital and smart agriculture technologies, artificial intelligence solutions and applications of photovoltaics in greenhouses for crop and electricity cogeneration.
The Minister and the Deputy Ministers of the Ministry of Education honored the team and UTH with their presence and were informed by Professor Nikolaos Katsoulas and Professor Chrysoula Papaioannou about the research and innovation promoted by the University of Thessaly in the field of Agrotechnology.
We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who visited the UTH booth and contributed to the dynamic discussions.
