Our partner Wageningen University & Research (WUR) organised an online workshop led by Caroline van der Salm and Tommaso Barbagli, presenting results from WP3.3 on smart nutrient management in soilless systems.
The workshop focused on strategies and results on reducing nutrient solution discharge caused by sodium (Na⁺) and chloride (Cl⁻) accumulation in substrate cultivation. This work supports the development of smart nutrient management plans to reduce nutrient losses and improve sustainability in greenhouse production.
