COEXPHAL was pleased to participate in the webinar “Almería Agroecology Living Lab”, which showcased the Almería greenhouse production model and the role of agroecology, digitalisation, and Living Labs in advancing sustainable agriculture.
The session highlighted key features of the Almería Agroecology Living Lab, including renewable-energy-powered climate control, efficient water and nutrient management, CO₂ recovery, real-time monitoring, and strong practices in biological pest control and circular resource use.
During the webinar one other partner, Teresa Peña, a researcher at the University of Almería was interviewed and the ECONUTRI project was presented as a practical example of how research and innovation support nutrient-smart, resource-efficient greenhouse systems, alongside other European initiatives in the field.
Around 60 participants attended, confirming the strong interest in the topic and the successful dissemination and visibility of the project, while reinforcing its relevance across both academic and professional communities.
