Our partner Prof. Lidia Sas-Paszt from InHort, presented ECONUTRI at the conference “Transformative Governance for Food Systems and Biodiversity”, held in Copenhagen, Denmark, on 3 December 2025. The event was hosted by the University of Copenhagen within the framework of the Danish EU Presidency and brought together policymakers, researchers, industry and civil society to discuss practical pathways for fair, healthy and sustainable food systems.
The presentation, titled “Innovative biofertilizers and biostimulators improving quality of horticultural crops and soil fertility – results of ECONUTRI project,” highlighted ECONUTRI’s work on innovative solutions that support soil fertility and the quality of horticultural crops.
The contribution showcased how biofertilizers and biostimulators can help improve crop performance while supporting more sustainable nutrient management. These approaches are closely aligned with ECONUTRI’s mission to advance environmentally friendly practices that reduce pollution and strengthen resilience in agriculture.
The conference formed part of a wider set of FOOD2030-related activities in Copenhagen from 1-4 December 2025, aimed at accelerating collaboration and impact across Europe’s food-system transition.
