Represented by Dr. Sara Medina, SPI participated in the 5th edition of Conferências Primavera, held on 25 March in Lisbon, contributing to the panel on EU–China Cooperation in Science, Technology and Innovation.

During the session, Dr. Medina presented the Econutri-Project, highlighting its strategic role in fostering structured and long-term collaboration between European and Chinese stakeholders. The project was showcased as a key initiative supporting joint research and innovation in the agri-food sector, with a focus on sustainable practices, knowledge exchange, and the co-development of solutions to shared global challenges.

The presentation also emphasised ECONUTRI’s contribution to strengthening bilateral cooperation, promoting synergies between research, industry and policy actors, and creating new opportunities for collaboration under programmes such as Horizon Europe.

This participation reinforced the importance of international partnerships in advancing innovation and sustainable development across regions.
