On May 23rd, 2025, our partner the University of Thessaly (UTH) welcomed young visitors from the 1st Kindergarten of Velestino to its agricultural research facilities.
During this educational visit, the children explored our hydroponic systems, gaining a first introduction to plant cultivation in an interactive and enjoyable environment. Through this hands-on experience, they learned about sustainable farming methods and the basics of plant growth in a way that sparked curiosity and enthusiasm.
This outreach activity is a valuable example of how the ECONUTRI project continues to promote awareness and knowledge-sharing across generations—starting with the farmers and scientists of tomorrow!
