The Spanish agricultural magazine AenVerde featured ECONUTRI in its April 2023 issue, Nº 216, p. 23, with an article titled «ECONUTRI: Un nuevo proyecto para regar mejor con menos».
The article presents the participation of the University of Almería (UAL) and COEXPHAL in ECONUTRI, highlighting the project’s work to optimize fertigation in commercial farms and demonstrate how greenhouse crops can be produced using less water and fertilisers.
It also refers to the first field demonstrations launched in Almería, including trials in the farm of Esther Molina, where innovative irrigation and fertilization practices are being compared with conventional farmer practices. The article underlines ECONUTRI’s contribution to more sustainable, data-driven agriculture and to the reduction of environmental pollution from nutrient use.
