Researchers from the University of Turin (UNITO) participated at the Agricultural Chemistry Winter School 2025, held in Perugia, Italy, from 10 to 13 February 2025 . The topic focused on “The Use of Bio-based Materials in the Agroecosystem: Plant–Soil–Microbiome Interaction.”
UNITO contributed at the end of the School with a poster related to Econutri work, «Converting Biomass Waste into Sustainable Fertilizer through Struvite Recovery,» authored by A. Boarino, M. Friuli, F. Demichelis, E. Dinuccio, G. Barbera, D. Vindrola, E. Padoan and L. Celi.
The work highlights the potential of struvite recovery to transform biomass waste into a valuable fertilizer source, supporting circular nutrient management and reducing reliance on conventional mineral fertilisers. This contribution reflects ECONUTRI’s commitment to nutrient recovery, resource efficiency and more sustainable agricultural systems
