On 12 May 2025, Wageningen University & Research presented the SNOMIN nitrogen mineralisation app during the Advanced Agronomy course for first-year MSc students at the Wageningen campus, reaching around 50 participants.

During the course, Tamara ten Den gave students a short overview of how the SNOMIN app works and how it can support nutrient management in practice. Developed with support and funding from the EU ECONUTRI project, SNOMIN predicts nitrogen use and availability in soil from chemical fertilisers and known organic amendments.

The app was highlighted as one of the tools available through the FarmMaps platform and is currently being further implemented for use by external users. This dissemination activity helped introduce future agronomists to innovative digital solutions that can support more sustainable nutrient management in agriculture.
