25 July 2023 – InHort organized a Workshop on Innovations in Organic Horticultural Crops, Skierniewice, Poland

On 25 July 2023, Econutri was presented in Skierniewice, Poland, during the 3rd workshop “Innovations in ecological horticultural crops – science and knowledge in practice”, organised by the Institute of Horticulture – National Research Institute within the ResBerry, EXCALIBUR, BioHortiTech and Econutri projects.
During the event, our partner Lidia Sas-Paszt and Grzegorz Doruchowski presented “Soil application of liquid biopreparations in organic production of strawberries and raspberries – ResBerry and Econutri projects”.

The workshop combined theory and practice. The theoretical sessions were held at the Center for Processing Horticultural Products (CPPO), while the practical part gave participants the opportunity to observe innovative soil and biodiversity management practices in the orchard and on vegetable experimental plots.

The programme also included talks on biostimulants, biodiversity in vegetable cultivation and integrated irrigation, followed by a panel discussion with producers and participants. The event concluded with a tasting of organic fruit preserves prepared at CPPO, adding a practical and engaging dimension to the workshop.

Overall, the workshop provided a valuable opportunity for knowledge exchange and for promoting sustainable practices closely aligned with Econutri’s mission.
