The event was held on 24\u201325 November 2025 at the Library and Information Centre of AUA in Athens, Greece<\/p>\n<p>During the session, E. Karousis (PhD Candidate, AUA) presented ECONUTRI\u2019s advancements on novel sensors and decision-support systems (DSS), demonstrating how machine learning and AI technologies can be applied to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>optimise nutrient and water supply in greenhouse crops,<\/li>\n<li>enhance resource-use efficiency, and<\/li>\n<li>minimise environmental impacts through more precise and adaptive management practices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This contribution highlighted how ECONUTRI leverages digital innovation and data-driven approaches to support farmers in reducing nutrient losses and improving sustainability in horticulture.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the TALLHEDA Project<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The TALLHEDA Project focuses on digital transformation in agriculture, with themes such as AI, big data, digital twins, sensor integration, and smart farming technologies. Through a series of interactive brainstorming actions, TALLHEDA brings together researchers, practitioners, and students to explore cutting-edge digital solutions and strengthen knowledge exchange
