In August 2025, the member of the research team of AUA and Doctorate candidate Evangelos Karousis visited the facilities of Clean Grow in UK to receive more specialised training on the use of the Ion specific electrodes tested and optimised in WP3 (Task 3.3). Evangelos cooperated with the members of the research team of Clean Grow Iain Aspley and Roy O’Mahony in optimising the performance of the system for use in greenhouses for real-time sensing of the mineral composition of fertigation effluents. The optimised system will be connected online with the DSS NUTRISENSE and tested again at AUA in a greenhouse experiment that is scheduled to commence in December 2025”.
